NATIONAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS SCHOLARSHIPS
Each year the National Board awards scholarships from funds held by the LLC from many different individuals as direct donations. In the event there are applicants not selected for these national scholarships, an applicant can request that their application be sent to the local conference for consideration for additional scholarships at the local level.
LOCAL CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIPS
LLC received $20,000 in a scholarship fund from the Atlanta Xlll Conference in 2009 with support from the Lloyd E. Russell Foundation to “pay it forward” granting $20,000 in scholarships to the upcoming local conferences. It is anticipated that this scholarship fund will continue for approximately 10 years or until funds are exhausted.
In the event there are applicants not selected for the national scholarships, an applicant can request that their application be sent to the local conference for consideration for these additional scholarships.
NOTE: Applications will be accepted during posted dates only! Application requests prior to those dates will not be considered.
Only one scholarship will be awarded per person. Anyone interested in applying for either scholarship may request an application at board@leatherleadership.org.
Who will know I got a scholarship?
Only the members of the review panel review national scholarship applications. In the case of the local scholarships, members of the review panel as well as designated members of the LOC will see application data. In every other respect, you will be registered and participate as any other conference member.

The Leather Leadership Conference, Inc. has established a fund to provide scholarships
to help make it easier for individuals to attend the annual conference who might
