The Local Organizing Committee is pleased and proud to announce the conference’s featured speakers:
Mary Frances Berry	Matt Foreman
Friday’s opening ceremonies will include an address by the honorable Mary Frances Berry, former chair of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. Dr. Berry has been a persistent advocate for equal rights for over thirty years. In her public service, and as a scholar and activist, she has stood firmly for an end to discrimination based on gender, race and sexual orientation. She is a professor at the University of Pennsylvania and currently serves on the board of the Woodhull Freedom Foundation. More information on Dr. Berry can be found at www.maryfrancesberry.com.	Sunday’s closing ceremonies will include an address by Matt Foreman, executive director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. Mr. Foreman has worked for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender rights for 25 years, including serving as executive director of the Empire State Pride Agenda and the New York City Gay and Lesbian Anti-Violence Project.
